Network Engineering (Software Analysis Based) Seminar
Attend this seminar. ($95/person) -
You can only attend ONE of these two seminars

Why Attend?
The uniqueness of operation of Network systems requires specialized training to insure adequate equipment selection. This includes Network Protectors, Transformers, fuses and associated equipment. Because companies expand and widen areas of responsibilities, many times the experience gained on Network systems is lost and re-fresher training is required.

Course Content:
  1. Network Protector Relay Theory and Operation Fundamentals Network Relay Operation Details Relay Setpoints and Network Protector Reactions
  2. Network Systems and Power Flow System Level Considerations including System Impedance Angle Analysis Comprehensive Spot Network Power Flow Simulation

This is an engineering level course that includes mathematical computations. A scientific calculator is recommended. A Laptop computer with MS Excel is preferred but not required. Load Analysis program (in Excel) and class notebook will be provided with each registration.

Performing Protector Maintenance Seminar
Attend this seminar. ($95/person) -
You can only attend ONE of these two seminars

The uniqueness of Network Protectors requires specialized training to insure proper maintenance, safety and testing. Because companies expand and widen areas of responsibilities many times, the experience gained on Network Protectors is lost or re-training is required.

In this 3-hour class, participants will be shown how to test insulation using a Megger Insulation Resistance Tester and test for resistance using a Micro-ohmmeter. Next, students will be shown how to perform electrical testing using the HWT-500 3 phase test set. Throughout the lesson, the instructor will emphasize key maintenance and safety procedures suggested by Eaton Corporation.

Published maintenance instruction guides for CM22s and CM52s will be provided to each registered participant.
